The well known effect of remanence enhancement by the interaction of hard and soft magnetic grains can be observed in the following figures. They are snapshots of the magnetization of the particles when the external field was switched off. The magnetization is almost parallel to the anisotropy axes of the hard grains. (Compare the magnetization direction in the figures below with the anisotropy plots in section 2.)
